Event description

Description

We've added a new day of adults classes: Sunday 18 February.

Learn about the 350 types of native bees that live in the Sydney area including the cute Teddy Bear Bee and the super important Blue Banded Bee. Most Australian bees don't live in hives - they live in dirt or in hollow stems or holes in trees. Find out about our native bees and make a bee hotel to take home in this hands-on workshop.

NB: If you can't make this date and would like to attedend one of the sessions designed for families on Saturday 27 or Sunday 28 January you are welcome to join then too. You will make the same bee hotel to take home but please note if you choose to attend these sessions on 26 and 27 January they are designed for a younger audience and could have young children in them. To book into a family session see here.
