Online event
We want your thoughts, ideas and feedback on the inclusivity of the Bi+ community at RMIT.
About this event
Join us in open discussion on your experience as a Bi+ staff member at RMIT and help shape the University's future.
We're calling for staff to share their lived experience through a series of Listening Groups, dedicated to shaping RMIT's Diversity and Inclusion Framework and Action Plans for 2022 onwards.
It's crucial that consultation sits at the centre of our Diversity and Inclusion strategies, as we strive to honour community and achieve genuine accessibility and cultural safety for all.
Is this Listening Group for me?
This Listening Group is for you if you identify as part of the Bi+ community (an umbrella term for the community of individuals who experience multi-gender sexual, and romantic, attractions - for instance bisexual, pansexual, queer, etc.)
This listening group seeks to engage with and provide the community with an opportunity to openly express and discuss Bi+ inclusion at RMIT in a safe, non-confrontational and professional environment.
Online Access
A Microsoft Teams Link will be emailed to all staff who register their attendance.
One on one conversations are also available for staff who wish to provide feedback in a private, confidential session. Please contact inclusion.action@rmit.edu.au to request a conversation.
