We take immense pleasure to invite you to our Christmas celebration party at 6:30pm~9:30pm 7th December Thursday 2018 at the Victoria Park, 309 Herston Road, Brisbane, to celebrate the Christmas season with our supportive colleagues, collaborators and friends. Please join us for an evening of merriment, gourmet food, light group games, lucky draw prizes, and drinks. Let's toast the holidays and the coming new year together! Dress code: casual or party. Its office is located at the prestigious QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute in Herston, Brisbane. Being the world's largest genomic organisation with leading sequencing platform and superb bioinformatics analysis capability, BGI Australia is devoted to facilitating cutting-edge research and applications in the areas of healthcare, agriculture and environment.

BGI Australia's strategic focus includes:

- Collaborate with organizations, to advance research and discoveries in genomics, Medical health, Agriculture and Biodiversity in Australia and Pacific regions;

- Establish centralized platform to provide technology transfer, training, services and industry incubation to the community;

- Provide sequencing systems, analysis tools and services to healthcare providers to promote public well-being in areas of reproductive health, cancer, rare diseases, infectious diseases etc..
