Description

Beyond Wallace's Line: Continuing the Legacy of Archaeology in the College of Asia and the Pacific, ANU.

On the 9th of May in 1969, the Department of Prehistory was established in the Research School of Pacific Studies at the ANU, with Jack Golson as Foundation Professor. This year marks the 50th anniversary and a two-day symposium is planned to celebrate the remarkable legacy of five decades of archaeological research within the College of Asia and the Pacific and across the ANU.

Please join us to hear the latest archaeological research being conducted by some of the finest researchers in the field. The full program will be made available in April 2019.

Registration for the Symposium closes on Thursday 2 May 2019.
