The Permanent Mission of the United Arab Emirates to the United Nations, The United Nations Department of Peace Operations, and The Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security invite you to the fourth panel in the series by the UAE and GIWPS on the role of women in post-conflict reconstruction.
Join leading experts for a discussion on the importance of women’s meaningful participation in the post-conflict security sector. Panelists will discuss strategies for developing and implementing gender-sensitive national security policies and share lessons learned from contexts and interventions that have effectively increased women’s participation in security forces – including peacekeeping, military and police.
