For SA Govt employees who are already running engagement exercises and have attended Better Together's Principles of Engagement training, this masterclass will take you to the next level. It's practical and relevant.
8.45am for a 9.00am start; concludes 1.00pm
Trainer Barbara Chappell (also delivers our most popular masterclass - Facilitation) has seen it all in years of engagement activities in local and state government. She has a Masters in Conflict Management and is an accredited trainer for the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2) including their "Emotion & Outrage" course.

PRE-REQUESITES: Participants must be public sector staff. No other pre-requisites apply. However we encourage participants to have attended "Principles of Engagement" training and/or familiarise themselves with the Better Together Principles of Engagement prior to attending this session.
ACCESSIBILITY: We strive to ensure Better Together events are accessible and inclusive for all participants. Venues are selected with accessibility as a priority (transport, parking, ramps, toilets, vision/sound supplementation and catering). If requested, we will endeavour to provide training materials, handouts and resources in advance to assist those who benefit from time to review them prior, use assistive technology or require an interpreter/translator. NO-SHOW POLICY: Please note that due to the popularity of this training session, seats are in high demand. Registered attendees who do not attend (and do not notify us of their cancellation prior to the event) may be charged a $100 non-attendance fee.
