Event description

Description

What is “design thinking”, and how can it improve access to justice? In this 2 hour workshop, Reuben Stanton from Paper Giant will explain what design thinking is, how it has transformed product and service innovation in commercial organisations, and how it can be applied to the legal sector. Through a series of hands-on activities, he will help you understand the process of design thinking, and demonstrate how it can help your organisation provide more useful, more accessible, more targeted, and more strategic legal resources.

About the presenter

Reuben Stanton is a strategic designer and researcher with over 15 years experience in the design industry in Australia and Japan. He is an expert at running design projects with interdisciplinary teams, and translating research into prototypes, products, services and strategy. He is the Design Director and co-founder of Paper Giant, a consultancy that works with the community legal sector to improve access to legal information.

Please note: Due to the popularity of these workshops priority will be given to people involved in the production of community legal information and foundation grant recipients.
