Event description

Description

The Bendigo Secondary Schools Network Day will bring teaching staff from Bendigo’s government secondary schools together as a network to explore state and local data, share practices and insights, and investigate strategies for improving student outcomes in Bendigo.

The event will take place during the morning only and will commence with presentations from key-note speakers in the JB Osborne Theatre at Crusoe College. Following key-note presentations, there will be a short morning tea followed by collaborative inquiry workshops focused on shared problems of practice.

These workshops will bring staff from the five secondary schools together to investigate problems of practice linked to one or more schools’ Annual Implementation Plans, including:

1. Disengagement and early leavers

2. Differentiation and formative assessment

3. Pedagogical practices and whole school literacy

4. Pedagogical practices and whole school numeracy

5. Student voice and agency

Participants are asked to select one of these collaborative inquiry workshops from the drop-down list as part of their registration.

Registration at the venue will be open from 8.30-8.55am. Please come early to secure a parking spot and complete your registration.
