Description

Due to the unfolding events surrounding the COVID19 pandemic, the VCCC has made the decision to postpone events, workshops and symposiums until further notice.

We hope to reschedule this event for later in the year and will provide details when appropriate.

If you have any questions, please email Cynthia Slattery, VCCC Events and Communications Coordinator at cynthia.slattery@unimelb.edu.au

Have you ever wanted to improve a clinical process, patient experience or work-related system but don't know where to start? This workshop aims to put ‘flesh on the bones’ of guidance on how to systematically develop and evaluate complex interventions.

During the day, you will learn about theory-based tools developed in behavioural science and how they interlink to guide the design and evaluation of behaviour change interventions.

This workshop will be facilitated by an international speaker and is a unique educational event initiative by the VCCC Nurse-led Research Hub.

Nurses who work with any cancer patients are invited to attend.

Facilitators

Dr Lou Atkins is Senior Teaching Fellow at the UCL Centre for Behaviour Change, as well as a researcher, trainer and consultant in behaviour change intervention design and evaluation in health and environmental sustainability. Lou leads the CBC’s Australasian hub and is co-author of the book Behaviour Change Wheel: A Guide to Designing Interventions.

Places are limited to nurses who work with any cancer patients.

Registration: FREE and includes refreshments.
