Beginners Yoga Courses at One Heart
Our beginners courses provide a systematic introduction to yoga postures, breathing, relaxation and meditation practices. We keep numbers small in the class to ensure you receive personalised attention and to adapt the practice to suit your individual needs. We will explore how yoga can develop strength, flexibility, mindfulness, mental and emotional balance and overall wellbeing. We have an emphasis on alignment and grounding to ensure you practice safely and effectively. This course gives a firm foundation for your ongoing practice.
This course is suitable for those with no experience of yoga, or for those who have a little experience who want to refresh the basics to develop a solid foundation for your yoga practice.
Thursday 7.45-9.00pm October 6 - November 10
We allow 2 make-up classes per 6-8 week course - if you miss two classes you can make these up with any 2 Integrated Yoga classes within 2 weeks of the course finishing. We also offer a 50% discount on 10 Class Pass for all those who complete the Beginners Course, just $95 for 10 classes.

- You do not need to bring anything – all yoga props supplied.

What are my parking options getting to the event?
There is paid parking in St Helier's street opposite the main entrance of the Convent. If you prefer unpaid parking, you can park in one of the surrounding side streets and walk through. Allow 10 minutes to walk through and be mindful of parking restrictions.
How do I locate One Heart on site at the Convent?
From the main gate of the Convent on St Helier's street veer right, go past the Convent bakery to the building next door, the Convent Building, which has two white pots with plants in front of the Convent building. Go up the stairs to the first floor, go along the corridor past all the WellBeing practitioner rooms. At the end of the corridor, at the base of the stairs, just to your right, is One Heart.
If you prefer visuals, there is clear map on our website:
