Beginner's Embroidery Workshop

This class is a beginners embroidery class where students will learn the basic embroidery stitches as well as the preparation needed to transfer designs onto the fabric.
During this lesson, our facilitator Margaret Blanch will cover the following: running stitch, back stitch, stem stitch, outline stitch, chain stitch/lazy daisy, blanket stitch, french knots and colonial knots.
Students will be provided with a kit to make a pin cushion or lavender sachet. The embroidery section will be completed in the workshop and instructions will be provided to finish the project off at home using the sewing machine.

What to bring:
Sewing accessories will be available on the day however students may prefer to bring their own supplies. A small embroidery hoop would be useful as well.
