So often people say to me, "I can't even draw a stick figure" or "I have no artistic talent whatsoever". This really isn't the case, because anyone can learn to draw, and I can show you how!

I'll be covering a vast variety of subjects and techniques which will equip to draw like you never thought you could!

I would suggest that you attend all 4 classes to get the full benefit of this course.

Day 1

Warm up - drawing circles using both hands

Pre instruction exercise

Exploring Lines and texture

Vase/face drawing

Upside down drawing

Day 2

Warmup - Non dominant hand

Draw a chair, negative drawing

Sphere - Creating light with greyscale

Household item negative drawing - egg whisk or scissors

Day 3

Still life with teapot, cup and saucer, bowl or vase, and fabric.

Seed pod eg banksia/ broken boab nut Bring own pod.

Create form with Shading

Make a viewfinder

Draw your own foot, with or without shoe, using your viewfinder.

Day 4

Life drawing class

Warm up: Draw figure without looking at your paper.

Drawing the figure in a continuous line using coloured pencils.

Dividing the body into shapes.

Foreshortening pose.

Portrait.

A4 Drawing pad with min 20 sheets, available from Office National or Grab a Bargain.

HB Pencil

B Pencil

Eraser

Mirror (approx size of a saucer or bigger) Day 1 and 4

Any seed pod which you find interesting.Day 3

There is plenty of parking on the verge.
