Beginner Skateboard Class •BRACKEN RIDGE•

About this Event
This beginner class is for anyone who has never stood on a skateboard before, anyone who has trouble with their balance/staying on the board, or anyone who can push and roll but would like to learn the correct foundations and correct any bad habits.
During the one-hour class, you will be taught:
Stance
Weight distribution
Board Balance
Falling
Pushing
Rolling
Turning
Breaking
You will leave this class with the tools to practice alone.
Experience required
No prior experience necessary. This class is also suited to students who can skate but would like to learn the correct foundations and stance.
What you'll get
Coaching with an accredited female skateboard coach.
What to bring
Helmet, skateboard and some water.
Please note, participants under the age of 18 years are required to wear a helmet.
We have skateboards as a reserve, they are limited. If you wish to reserve a skateboard, please contact us at skatewellau@gmail.com with your order number.

How often can I attend?
This beginner class often brings new people every session. We suggest returning to this again class if you do not feel comfortable practicing alone.
