Beginner jewellery workshop - rework your old jewellery

Beginner jewellery workshop - rework your old jewellery

By Tash Atkins & Many Hands Make

Overview

Beginner jewellery-making workshop using recycled and preloved materials.

Join this beginner-friendly jewellery-making workshop and learn how to recycle and transform your old jewellery into something new!

This workshop is delivered by the talented trash-diva, Shelbui! An artist and jewellery maker based in Brunswick, they're passionate about reworking trash into treasure.

No experience is needed for the workshop — just bring yourself and, if you have them, a few preloved or secondhand pieces you’d like to rework. We’ll supply the essentials (plus a few gems from Shelbui's collection 💕), and you’ll leave with something truly unique.

This is a relaxed, judgment-free creative space to experiment, connect, and share materials. If you’ve got jewellery you don’t use anymore, bring it along! Someone else might love it!

Come get inspired, make something beautiful, and give your old treasures a new life.

This workshop is taking place during the In The Making exhibition at Unassigned Gallery, presented by Many Hands Make. Many Hands Make is a creative community of people making things together.

After this workshop is a creative coworking session presented by Many Hands Make. Make a day of it! Get in extra jewellery-making time, or bring another creative project along and book in.
