#BeFAIRandCARE: Knowing Data Principles
Join us for a lunchtime talk to hear Dr Terhi Nurmikko-Fuller exploring the FAIR and CARE data management principles and what they might mean for your data, records or archives management.
Dr Nurmikko-Fuller is a Senior Lecturer in Digital Humanities at the Australian National University. Her broad range of research interests include linked data, ontologies, knowledge representation, cuneiform and Near Eastern studies, as well as archaeology, library, archives and museums studies.
FAIR and CARE are principles are intended to support knowledge discovery and integration by humans and machines. Together they promote sharing and reuse of data while encouraging open data movements to consider both people and purpose in their advocacy and pursuits, reflecting the crucial role of data in advancing Indigenous innovation and self-determination.
