Event description
Come join the team at Near & Far, with special guest Ainsley Killingback, to discover the history of stouts!

About this Event

The first rule is, we drink beer at beer club.

The second rule is, we drink beer at beer club.

Winter is here and you know what that means, it's time to break out the stouts! Chocolatey, coffee flavoured, boozy goodness is at your fingertips with this first instalment of beer club. From 19th century patent malts, to the modern day rise of the pastry stout, the Near & Far team have got you covered to learn all you dreamed of(and more!) about everyone's favourite winter style of beer.

Hosted by local beer nerd Ainsley Killingback (@girl.drinks.beers), beer club is a guided discussion of styles between hop heads. By attending beer club, we assume you have a basic knowledge of beer world and the brewing process. If this doesn't sound like you just yet, enquire about our upcoming Beer 101 classes for beginners!

Six 200ml tasters, finger food, and more knowledge than you can shake a bushel of hops at.
