Professional Pride Brisbane and Corrs Chambers Westgarth are very pleased to invite you to a presentation and Q&A (followed by networking drinks) on the challenges and complexities around becoming parents in the LGBTIQ+ community.

We are honoured to have Mr Stephen Page, an international family and fertility law expert, presenting and taking questions from the group.

Stephen Page Biography

Stephen Page is a Partner at law firm Page Provan, in Brisbane. He has advised in over 1500 surrogacy journeys, and regularly advises on egg, sperm and embryo donation issues.

Stephen was admitted as a solicitor in 1987 and his first surrogacy case was in 1988. He has been a Qld Law Society Accredited Family Law Specialist since 1996. He is a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers and of the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys. Stephen is an international representative on the Artificial Reproductive Treatment Committee of the American Bar Association.

Stephen has written and presented on fertility law issues around the world. He lectures in law and ethics in reproductive medicine at the University of NSW and very excitingly, Stephen and his husband Mitchell are expecting a baby daughter by surrogacy this July.
