A gathering for girls, pre-menarche (onset of menstruation) or just ‘started’, with their mothers, to demystify the menstrual cycle and to learn through information sharing about the physical and spiritual opportunities inherent in the female cycle.
The gathering is conducted in a circle format over three hours, with the mothers sharing some of their experiences and Jane facilitating an interactive experience with all participants as she explains the rhythm of the cycle. The basics of the cycle will be explained, linking it to the cycles of the moon and earth seasons. We do a shamanic drum journey to meet with our inner Goddess and draw and share our experiences.
This gathering serves to honour the feminine experience of the menstrual cycle, to celebrate being a woman and to heal the ‘wounded feminine’ of our times.
Each Maiden receives a copy of “Becoming – a Woman, a guide for girls approaching menstruation”.
Cost NZ$100 per mother and daughter couple, refreshments provided.
Please note: If you attend more than one of the following workshops, you will be given a discount! It is NZ$50 off when you attend 2, NZ$100 off when you attend 3:
- Moonsong (MS), Connecting With the Shamanic Dimensions of Pregnancy (CWSDP) or Autumn Woman Harvest Queen (AWHQ).
If you attend one of these three and "Becoming A Woman" (BAW), you will receive NZ$20 of the BAW fee.
When you purchase your first ticket to the first workshop, discount codes to apply to subsequent purchases will be sent through in your ticket confirmation. You can then go and apply them at ticketing, under "discount code". You will need to apply the relevant code to each subsequent ticket purchase.
