Join us for a screening of a free Be Connected webinar about how to use apps when you're travelling.

Planning a trip and getting to your destination has never been easier with information and services available with a tap of your smart devices. Discover useful apps that can help you research your next holiday and improve your travel experience. In this presentation we explore apps that provide travel reviews and safety advice, ways to book accommodation and access entertainment, as well as maps, rideshare and transport apps to help you get around with ease.

Come along to this 1-hour presentation from Be Connected and the eSafety Commissioner to discover:

  • benefits of using apps
  • useful apps for traveling in Australia and overseas
  • transport apps that help make it easier to get around
  • tips to keep safe when using apps.


Parking: 

• Maximum 2 hour stay at the library 

• Parking in Channel Court shopping complex is maximum 3 hours. 

To ensure a successful event, please: 

• Let us know if you can’t attend so we can give your place to someone else 

• Don't attend if you are unwell 

• Follow hygiene practices eg. hand sanitising 

• Let us know if you have any support needs or if a support person will be coming with you. 

Accessibility: 

• 2 permit mobility parking spaces next to the library - 2 hour parking limits 

• Level access, automatic entrance doors, wide doorways and aisles for wheelchairs 

• Accessible toilet with a change table for children 

• Parenting room in Channel Court shopping centre next to the library
