Be Connected is an Australia-wide program designed to help adults build confidence with using technology and learn basic digital skills.

About this event

Be Connected - Introduction to mobile banking

Learn how to get started with online banking using your mobile device, including how to safely find and download your bank’s app, performing basic tasks like logging on and checking a transaction, and staying safe while using mobile banking.

This session is suitable for adults who have intermediate level digital skills and are experienced with: using a device, using data and Wi-Fi, using email, and using apps.

Date: Thursday 25 November 2021

Time: 10.30am - 12.00pm (please arrive by 10.20am for a prompt 10.30am start)

Venue: Stirling Libraries – Inglewood, 895 Beaufort Street, Inglewood WA 6052

Tea and coffee will be provided: Attendees are encouraged to BYO reusable coffee cup.

What to bring: Please bring your own device (smartphone, tablet / iPad, or laptop)

Bookings are essential as places are limited

Be Connected programs are funded by Good Things Foundation and the Australian Government Department of Social Services. Participants' contact details will be added to the Good Things Network: Be Connected Learning Management System. The details will be used for tracking your progress against funded learning programmes run by Good Things Foundation, reporting and improving products in line with their privacy policy. They will be shared between Stirling Libraries, Good Things Foundation and The Australian Government Department of Social Services. Your details will never be sold on to any other third parties.

Free parking is available directly outside the library building; entry via Tenth Ave.
