Event description

Description

"Doing Good", "Social Impact" and "Purpose Led" seem to be the trendy buzzwords in business circles right now. But what does it all mean and how does it apply to your business venture? How does purpose fit with your vision, the products you sell or the services you offer? What are the advantages, challenges and potential pitfalls of operating as a Social Enterprise?

How do you determine what your Social Purpose is and is it possible to "do well while doing good”?

Business owners and entrepreneurs with a social conscience, this event, held as part of the Small Business Festival Victoria, is created for you. The talks, workshops and connections you make will equip you with what you need to get started, and to help you stay on track.

Hear from industry experts, talk to social enterprise founders and staff who have started, failed, succeeded, and take part in a group panel discussion and workshops to ascertain where purpose fits for you and your business and how to get the most out of it.

Attend the full series of events to get the most out of the day, or choose from each event individually. Get the insight you're looking for on how to make a real and lasting difference, while running a successful business.
