Event description
Get batty for Halloween! Find out things you never knew about flying-fox and watch them fly out at sunset.

About this event

Get batty on the eve of Halloween!

During this family friendly event on the eve of Halloween, Saturday 30 October, participants can find out everything they have ever wanted to know about Bats (flying-fox).

Enjoy a free sausage sizzle while you watch bats flying out at sunset for their evening feed.

Bats QLD will host an information marquee featuring a living educational bat named 'Fig' and will lead a spectacular flying-fox fly out.

Children should wear their best batty outfit for the best-dressed bat competition! A representative from Bats QLD will judge the winning costume.

The workshop is delivered by Bats Qld and Logan City Council as part of the City of Logan's Environmental Events and Activities Program.

Please visit logan.qld.gov.au/environmentalevents for a complete listing of all environmental events and activities run by Logan City Council.

Please make sure you are aware of the current Covid-19 restrictions and do not attend if you are unwell.
