Bats and Birds of the Night
Event Information
Description
BATS AND BIRDS OF THE NIGHT!
While we're tucked away in bed, many native animals such as bats and owls are exploring our backyards and paddocks. We rarely see them, occasionally hear them, and generally don't know all that much about them - though they are an important part of our eco-system.
Find out a bit more about our overnight visitors at an information evening hosted by Northern Foothills Land Care Group. John Gitsham, President of Birds SA and former Park Ranger with DEWNR, and Terry Reardon, Australia's 'bat man' will both be presenting.
After the presentation, stay for light supper and a chat with like-minded people.
6:45pm arrival for a 7pm start.
Please note: registrations for the event close at 5pm on 26 February (in order to firm up numbers for food and seating.) If you wish to attend please note that you will need to register on Eventbrite prior to this time.
Gold coin donation at the door (to assist with arranging future events.)
