This two part introduction to the basics of teaching English as a Second Language classes is aimed at new and inexperienced tutors who volunteer for community organisations such as libraries and churches.

Cultural Awareness Workshop
This workshop is dedicated to raising tutor awareness of the way in which cultural differences affect students.

When & Where
The Parramatta Library service consists of the central library at Parramatta, five branches and the Parramatta Heritage Centre (which includes the Visitors Information centre). Activities and special events are held every week, ranging from storytimes for children to visits by well-known authors, computer classes, health and financial planning seminars, and much more.
