Description
This popular 2 hour demonstration workshop is being delivered by Georgie, female owner/instructor of Bikes at Work - and as part of the 2017 Sustainable Living Festival program. The venue has generously been provided by Alma Road Community House (ARCH).
Participants will be shown how to undertake bike checks, make basic adjustments, take off a wheel, replace an inner tube, repair a puncture and clean a chain. Bikes are optional - if there's time, any participant bikes can have a brief safety check.
Handout notes will be provided, plus Port Phillip TravelSmart maps and other useful info.
Cost per person: $10 + booking fee

Do I need to bring my bike?
It's optional. There may be 5-10 minutes to check bikes e.g. for fit. But most of the workshop is demonstration with some discussion and opportunity for questions.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes, just let Georgie know the name of the new ticketholder. No refunds, and payment is not transferable, sorry.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No. We will have a list of names.
