This is a free, 2 hour workshop, commissioned by the City of Boroondara. The workshop covers the basics of how to maintain a bicycle, and is run by a female instructor (Georgie). She will use her bike to demonstrate and advise on:
- Bike fit
- Bike tools
- Safety checks
- Removing and replacing wheels
- Tube replacement
- Puncture repair
- Oiling the chain
The workshop is an interactive session and invites questions and discussion.
Maps, leaflets and information will be available.
Do I need to bring my bike?
Bikes are optional for participants (there will be 5- 10 minutes to undertake brief checks and make adjustments on 4-5 bikes).

No. Georgie will have registration details of participants.
Can I bring my child(ren)?
Interested children aged 12 and up are welcome to attend; if aged under 16 they must be accompanied by an adult. Both must register for the workshop.
