Description

Experiment with a variety of materials such as feathers, pressed flowers, leaves and fibres found in nature. This workshop focus on colour, texture and embossing to print on the etching press. Create a stunning portfolio of up to 10 prints reflecting your unique creative ability in a relaxed environment.


10am-4.30pm (half hour break at 1pm)

Material: Please pay $15 material fee to the facilitator at the workshop

Please bring an A5 size drawing to the workshop.


This masterclass is suitable for participants 16 years and over.
Concession rate available for valid concession card holders (Senior card, Centrelink card, tertiary student card).




Artist Facilitator: Seraphina Martin
Seraphina Martin studied printmaking at the National Art School in Paris. She was the recipient of the Moya Dyring Studio at the Cite des Arts in Paris in 1988. There, she studied the Viscosity colour printing method at the Atelier 17 under notorious master printer William Hayter. Since 1994 she has been developing a non-toxic technology called Solar Plate etching in her own art practice.
