About this Event
**Please note that this event has now moved from the Queensland Maritime Museum to the Queensland Tennis Centre.**
Before the city warms up to Saturday evening, take some time to enjoy big band jazz after work at the Queensland Tennis Centre with music by the Jazz Music Institute's Liam Conor & Co.
Liam Conor & Co is a Brisbane based quartet with a focus on groove, rhythmic exploration and improvisation. Having recently graduated from the Jazz Music Institute, Liam has been taking the first steps to further showcasing his passion for music by constructing a refreshing list of repertoire and selecting seasoned musicians to help bring his passion to fruition. The selected repertoire largely consists of Latin and Afro cuban bangers, entwined with a few heart warming Swing classics and a touch of reggae
And now joining them, it's a Beautiful Day to Sway to the music of Michael Bublé with Sunnybank Brass and golden vocals of Izabella Cihajic as they present a concert of smooth swing standards that will leave you feeling good.
The Baseline café and bar will be open so enjoy the entertainment with a glass of wine and a meal. Food and drink from outside vendors are not allowed for this event.
There is a grass section in front of the band to bring a picnic blanket or there will be limited seating on the paved area behind the grass. Seating will be first come first served so head in early to guarantee your spot.
Ticket sales will close midday, Friday 26th of March 2021.
