Bamboo Moon – The Tale of Princess Kaguya かぐや姫の物語, is a free community performance presented by Corrugated Iron Youth Arts in the George Brown Botanic Gardens on Thurs 3 – Sat 5 Aug, 2017. The show encompasses elements of circus, physical theatre and traditional drama, and is performed by a young local cast.

The story is based upon the well-known Japanese Monogatari of the Bamboo Cutter’s Daughter, adapted specifically for young performers and to appeal to audiences of all ages, especially families.

Bamboo Moon is a free performance, with no bookings necessary. Show starts 6:30pm
