Ballarat Springfest Outreach

The Ballarat Springfest Outreach presents a great opportunity for witnessing and fellowship over the Springfest market weekend. We encourage people to attend the entire weekend in order to make the most of it, as we have a unique setup for the event.

Sunday is the Springfest market, which is situated around Lake Wendouree. With various stalls and a large volume of people attending, we intend to take the opportunity to outreach in this area. We will be hosting stalls ourselves, providing a spot for people to sit down, relax with a beverage and be spoken to about the Lord.

As this event will be taking place throughout the day on Sunday, we will be having a communion meeting on Saturday night. This will allow us to maximise our witnessing opportunities on Sunday and also allow visitors to return home at a convenient time.

What is the program for the weekend?

The program for the weekend is designed to maximise our opportunity for outreaching and fellowshipping and will run as follows:

Friday night - fellowship

Saturday morning - outreach

Saturday afternoon - free time, fellowship and/or outreach (your choice!)

Saturday night - communion meeting

Sunday morning - outreach

Sunday afternoon - close

How do I register?

I'm glad you asked! Simply click on the 'Register' button at the top right and follow the prompts. You will be asked to select a 'ticket' - this simply allows us to track your registration. You can register multiple people under the one 'ticket' and our questions will gather the appropriate information.

You will be required to create an Eventbrite account, which is just your email and password. This allows your registration receipt to be sent to you with additional information for the weekend. Fear not the promotional emails that follow - simply flag as 'SPAM' and be on your way if you don't want them.

Can I register someone else on their behalf?

You can register another person under your login if they do not have access to email. We would encourage people to assist others in this as we don't want anyone to miss out. You can also contact us directly if you need us to manage the registration.

Where can I stay?

Due to our fairly limited capacity, we will be providing billeting only for saints from outside Victoria and Adelaide. If you require accommodation and billets are unavailable, we can direct you to a number of accommodation websites.

(Note for Adelaide saints: a group is being organised to attend from Adelaide. If you want to be part of this group, please contact Emily Campbell from Woodcroft via email at emily@newblackdesigns.com. Transport and accommodation will be organised for you. We have booked a number of cabins at a local caravan park. You will be sharing with up to 5 other saints and it will cost approx $60 pp, bus cost to be confirmed.)

Will meals be provided over the weekend?

We are unable to provide meals, except for the supper on Saturday night and refreshments on the Sunday at the stalls. There are many locations for food to be purchased around town and during the Springfest market.
