This summer sees the return of the Ballarat Beer Festival as we showcase over one hundred and fifty of Australia's finest craft beers. Come along, kick back under Ballarat’s summery skies beneath the shady trees of the North Gardens as you sample, sip and savour your way to craft beervana.

This year there will be fun aplenty as we raise the stakes on entertainment. We promise a few surprising activities for kids and adults alike. Stay tuned for future announcements.Wander the Boulevards of Beers and find your favourite brew.Wend your way towards the award winning wineries.

Educate yourself as you learn the fine art of matching your favourite beer with food and learn the brewing process.

Not big on beer or cider? Not to worry. We are also featuring some of the finest award winning regional wines around. Naturally, a range of tasty non-alcohol drinks will be available.A cavalcade of food trucks with global cuisines in the Hawkers Beer Garden will offer the opportunity to fuel up and discover new exciting flavours and dishes.

No festival is complete without music. That’s why we’ve invited a line-up of independent artists to play throughout the day, providing the perfect soundtrack to your day.

Due to COVID rules, we are running 2 sessions, 12 to 4pm and 5pm to 9pm plus a limited number of all day tickets.

And new for 2021, we are following up with a music festival, Ballarat Funk'N'Fest. Recover in the gardens chilling out to Funk, Soul and R&B with some of Victoria's famous bands in these genres. And of course, some of the brewers are hanging around for this too.
