Be among the local crowd, for our second BALGOWLAH BOLT FUN RUN. We encourage everyone to enter into the FUN at the event, dress up if you wish, decorate your stroller!

Run with your family, friends and community through the streets of Balgowlah Heights that will be closed for the duration of the event. Enjoy the gorgeous views of Sydney Heads from Tania Park. The Balgowlah Bolt Fun Run is an event designed for people of all ages and abilities. You can sprint, run, jog or walk and babies in strollers are most welcome.

You can choose to enter either the 2.75km (8.25am) or the 5.3km event (8:15am.) We encourage all participants to enter into the FUN of the event……the 2.75km event is flat for all levels of fitness to enjoy. The longer course has some hills to challenge your fitness!

As a community event we encourage family entries. Mum, Dad, kids and grandparents can enter under the family price. Children 4 and under and kids in strollers are free. However, if you would like a bib for your little one you will need to register them. The family entry is the best value. Early bird rates are valid before February 25!.

Is there supervision for kids along the course?

There are course marshals - however all children requiring monitoring should be accompanied by a supervising adult as per the waiver terms and conditions you must consent at time of booking.

Where does the race commence?

The race commences between the senior and junior campus on Lewis Streets. Runners should enter from Ernest Street.

Are there drinks along the course?

There are no water stations on the course. Runners are encouraged to bring a water bottle as required. There is a water station at the school that can be used prior/after the event and water available is from Tania Park.

Can I buy food and drinks after completing the fun run?

Yes, bacon & egg rolls, coffee and other items will be available for purchase.

Is there parking near the start line?

There is no parking station. Participants are encouraged to utilise public transport or park in nearby streets.

What's the refund policy?

No refunds are available. This is a fund raising event.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You will receive entry confirmation by email when you register. Please bring it for bib collection at the Balgowah Heights Public School (Lewis Street). Bibs will be available from Balgowlah Heights Public School Western Campus on the following times: Thursday 15th March 3-4pm; Friday 16th March 8.30am-9am AND 3-4pm; Saturday 17th March 3-5pm; and Sunday 18th March 7-8am.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes, online.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes, online up to one week prior to the Event.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?


Do I have to sign a Waiver Agreement?

Yes, you can view online here. You'll need to accept the waiver checkbox when you purchase your ticket.
