Description

People who have experienced back pain have often had issues with bend and twist movements and often develop a fear of lifting (especially deadlifting) however deadlifting is an important tool in rehab from back pain when done correctly.

This course will include:
- A review simple anatomy of the spine
- Discussion about common injuries that occur with the lower back
- Discussion and practice of the deadlift (including cues / assessing technique)
- Practice of simple rehab exercises to address common technique faults

The course is practical and hands on and is ideal for personal trainers, exercise scientists / physiologist who would like a better understanding of what is required for a safe and effective deadlift. All skills learnt on the day can be easily applied to your own training or clients come Monday morning.
