Event description

Description

This full-day Apnea Australia Clinic is designed by the World Champion Freediver Erez Beatus specifically for surfers who want to deal with wipe-outs and hold-downs with much more confidence. Learn how to deal with ‘urge to breathe’ in high stress, high metabolism situations.

Max 8 surfers per clinic!

YOU SHOULD ATTEND IF YOU WANT TO:

• Improve your breathing
• Increase your breath-hold
• Overcome fear that limits your surfing
• Master your nervous system
• Develop effective warmup routine
• Relax during hold downs
• Recover faster between sets
• Challenge yourself!

I take you through a number of land and pool exercises, which will help you to train mental and physical aspects of a breath-hold. All of the exercises are done on an an ‘exhale’ with limited time for recovery; suitably mimicking real-life situations.

INCLUSIONS
• Pre-clinic online educational component
• 6-hour clinic: 3 hours classroom and 3 hours pool
• Certification and registration with Apnea International

WEEKLY TRAINING SESSIONS

After you attend the Clinic, you'll be able to join us for weekly pool training session on Tuesday nights 6:30pm - 8pm, West Wallsend Pool. We'll work on what we started - increase your breath-hold, build your CO2 tolerance, increase your underwater distance & work on your breathing & relaxation. Full CO2 saturation guaranteed! :)
