Awareness Through Movement is an 8-part monthly series to help you come back home to your body and find more ease, calm and comfort within.

Reconnect, rediscover and rest in this 2-hour movement + reflection immersion. Through Feldenkrais Method movement lessons, facilitated enquiry and discussion you’ll improve how you move and feel in your body, and explore how you can continue this process in your daily life.

Most of us experience some kind of recurring strain and tension - emotional (anxiety, stress, overwhelm), mental (endless commentary of a harsh inner critic) or physical (stiff neck, sore back, sleeping difficulties or an old injury that flares up when you’re stressed).


Maybe you’ve sought various treatments over the years and found temporary relief, but still it returns. You suspect it’s something you’re doing (or not doing) that keeps “aggravating the problem”, but you don’t know what exactly nor how to change it in any meaningful long term way.

Feldenkrais (rhymes with “rice”) can help you uncover what it is that you’re doing, explore better options and give you more choices.


You’ll be guided through slow and easy movements that quieten and calm your nervous system, allowing you to sense what you’re really doing. By keeping movements small and within a range of ease and comfort, you’ll begin to detect unhelpful patterns early, preventing strain and replacing them with new options that feel easier, smoother, more coordinated and even pleasurable!


This is a deeply sensory experience - mindfulness in action. These lessons, learnt through movement, extend well beyond the body. We’ll reflect and explore how your experiences on the mat can be applied to other areas of your life, through the monthly themes.


$60 for single session drop-ins
$180 for 4 session pass (save $60) or $360 for 8 session pass (save $120)
