Autumn Spotlight Prowls (ages 5+)

Centennial Parklands is home to a variety of nocturnal creatures, from Brush-tailed Possums, microbats and Tawny Frogmouths to one of Sydney’s largest colonies of Grey-headed Flying-fox. Join a Parklands Ranger for a fascinating and surprising spotlight walk to see how the park transforms when the sun goes down.
Age: Adults or families with children aged 5+ years are welcome (children must be accompanied by an adult). We are offering alternative adults only spotlight prowls during the autumn season. Please refer to our separate Eventbrite page (Adults Spotlight Prowls Autumn) to book into this event.

Times: Friday 7 April 5.30pm; Wednesday 19 April 5.15pm; Friday 5 May 5pm; Wednesday 17 May 4.45pm
Price: $19 (including GST and booking fee)
Special notes: All attendees must have their own ticket (i.e. 4 tickets for 2 adults and 2 children). Bring a torch, enclosed shoes, bug repellent and a rain jacket in case of wet weather. Please be punctual to ensure you join the group. Tour will run for approximately 1 hour.
Please note: This event goes ahead in wet weather, so please come prepared with wet weather gear. Tours are cancelled if inclement weather is dangerous i.e. high winds and lightening. An email informing of cancellation will be sent to email supplied at time of booking at least 1.5 hours before event starts.
Cancellation policy: Once tickets are purchased no refunds, exchange or credits will be given, unless the event is cancelled by the Parklands due to dangerous conditions.
