Event description

Description

Come and meet Christina Keeble (Special Education Mum) & Narelle McCaffrey as they speak about Autism & Girls Across the Ages! Both women are parents to girls on the Autism Spectrum, they both are Autistic themselves and are both educators! Christina is a fully registered teacher with the Victorian Intstitue of Teachers and casually teaches in special education settings. She is primary trained, has a Masters in Special Education and has a lot of experience in early childhood and primary special education settings.

Narelle is a former high school teacher which brings in her experiences for the older girls. She is also a passionate and very knowledgeable advocate and is currently completing her Masters in Disability. Both women also have boys on the Spectrum and the evening will be filled with research based along with personal stories to bring the experience to life. Sister Sensory will also be there on the night with her amazing sensory stall set up. She is generously providing goody bags for every attendee and a door prize on the night. You will have the opportunity to touch, play with and buy the awesome sensory products. Narelle (a different Narelle!) from Sister Sensory also has experience as a mum of a child with additional needs. There will also be networking and opportunities for questions and discussion.

We hope to see you there for a fabulous evening celebrating and learning about Girls on the Autism Spectrum. Limited spaces available due to the venue capacity.
