About this event
Of interest to those who enjoy history and true crime, hear about life in Sydney after World War II and the chilling crime wave which saw women such as Caroline Grills and Yvonne Fletcher callously poison family members, using the household poison thallium, normally used to kill rats. Unlike other easily acquired poisons of the time, thallium was odourless and tasteless and victim’s deaths were attributed to natural causes and not nefarious purposes.
This event is part of the BAD Sydney Crime Writers Festival and will be facilitated by Catherine Du Peloux Menage, Artistic Director of the Festival.
