About Rashida
Rashida Murphy is the author of a novel, The Historian’s Daughter and a collection of short stories, The Bonesetter’s Fee & Other Stories. This collection was shortlisted in the Carmel Bird Literary Award and published earlier this year by Spineless Wonders. Rashida has a PhD in Writing from Edith Cowan University and works as a mentor to emerging writers. She has been a judge of several book awards and literary competitions. She lives in a house once owned by an Irish nun and believes this is why she has a never-ending supply of books to read.

Dr Amanda Curtin is the author of Kathleen O’Connor of Paris, Elemental, Inherited and The Sinkings, and a recipient of the WA Writers Fellowship for her current work in progress, a novel set in Ireland and 1890s goldrush Perth and Coolgardie.
