Event description
Enjoy an evening with award-winning author Madelaine Dickie.

About this Event

Award-winning author Madelaine Dickie’s latest novel Red Can Origami is a wild tale of beer guzzling, barramundi fishing, and a bitter conflict between a Japanese-owned uranium mining company and a native title group. The action sweeps from the rodeos and fishing holes of northern Australia, to the dazzling streets of night-time Tokyo.

Learn about the inspiration behind Red Can, as well as about Madelaine’s first novel Troppo, which won the City of Fremantle Hungerford Award and was shortlisted for the Dobbie Literary Award and the Barbara Jefferis Award.

Includes wine and nibbles.
