Description

This program is suitable for adults (16+).

Meet author Dr Jennifer Gall, and listen as the curator and musicologist discusses her recent book Looking for Rose Paterson: How Family Bush Life Nurtured Banjo the Poet with us at Gungahlin Library at 6:30pm on 14 June.

This fascinating book is based on letters written by Banjo Patterson’s mother Rose, which are held by the National Library of Australia. The letters provide a detailed and extremely personal glimpse of Rose’s daily life, concerns and interests, and highlights the important work of libraries and archives in giving us access to the worlds and peoples of our past.

About Dr. Jennifer Gall:
