The antics of a couple of backyard chooks has inspired local author Michael Hammond to pen a children's book called The Adventures of Harriett and Hunch.

It is an illustrated children's book incorporating a sense of humour, takes imaginations on a journey and is one adults will enjoy reading to children.

Come along to Molong Library on Friday 18 February at 2.30pm to launch the book and learn about Michael's book ideas, love of reading and latest project.
