About this event

Australian Wind Symphony's annual Remembrance concert.

In the evocative setting of the Warrior's Chapel at the Church of St Andrew, this performance features readings from contemporary veterans, a selection of poignant music and our annual performance of the Last Post from inside the chapel, set to the hymn Abide With Me.

The Australian Wind Symphony is a ~40 piece professional wind ensemble championing new music by living composers. We perform full-scale symphonic performances both near our base at the Queanbeyan Performing Arts Centre, and as a touring ensemble.
