A sanctioned Freeride Mountain Bike World Tour - Australian Slopestyle Mountain Bike series 2022. Come & watch the pros & athletes compete to be the champion of round 2. Tickets $10+booking fee.

Big Air Slopestyle Party is a unique Australian first, indoor slopestyle event open to girls and guys over 14 years old. Hosted by Big Air Bike Park as part of the FMBA sanctioned Australian Slopestyle Tour, we are bringing you an amazing show of entertainment, skill and courage of some of the best riders in the country. Backflips, 360’s, no-can’s, tuck-no’s, barspins, tailwhips all under the roof at Big Air. Red Bull DJ will be pumping the tunes, so come on down and create the environment. Food trucks etc etc. Prize money is sponsored by our mates at Nomad Brewery, so come and join us for the after party at Nomad from 8pm.

EVENT FORMAT: All AST 2022 Tour Stops will have the following:

• Open practice period for athletes
• Open judged qualifying period with unlimited runs to set the best-scored run
• Finals with the Top 8 from qualifying
• Finals consist of 2 judged runs
• Podiums 1st, 2nd, 3rd for each destination stop

JUDGING CRITERIA

Athletes will be judged on the following criteria

• Execution / Style (Is the athlete looking loose and comfortable or are they robotic and stiff)
• Air / Amplitude (How much air the athlete gets and does that athlete stick the landings or come up short)
• Tricks (Difficulty and type of tricks the athlete performs)
• Overall Impression (Amount and variety of tricks the athlete performs and where they are placed in the run)

Spectator Event Times: 10am - 7pm

PRACTICE: Girls 8:30am-9:30am, Guys 9:30am-10:30am

QUALI'S: Girls 10:30am - 11:30am, Guys 11:45am-2:15pm

WARM UP: Girls 2:20pm, Guys 4:15pm

FINALS: Girls 2:30pm-4pm, Guys 4:30pm-6pm

PREZO'S: Girls 6:30pm, Guys 6:45pm
