- GENERAL -
Can children/youth attend?
Due to the difficult and sensitive nature of stories which will be shared at APG, we suggest that it is not appropriate for children, We do encourage youth above 15 to attend.
Is the event catered?
Yes. Morning tea and lunch are provided on the Saturday.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
While you are welcome to bring a printed ticket, showing the confirmation email on your device is also adequate.

What are the registration options?
- $25 per person, Friday night youth group rate (Friday night entry only)
- $88* standard early bird rate until February 28, 2017 **EXTENDED to March 10, 2017
- $60 early bird rate for students, Justice Advocates or IJM Alumni until February 28, 2017, **EXTENDED to March 10, 2017
- $116* standard full rate from March 11, 2017 – March 31, 2017
- $80 full rate for students, Justice Advocates or IJM Alumni from 11 March 2017 - 31 March 2017
*See the "group discount" option for a further 20% off when 5 or more standard tickets are purchased at the same time.
Thanks to generous discounted services from vendors and gifts in kind, we have offered the lowest price possible for a quality gathering which will not come at a loss to IJM's justice operations.
Why is Eventbrite asking for an ABN Tax ID?
Under "Registration Type & Tax Receipt Information" is the option to select whether you are registering as an individual or a business. If "A Business" is selected, Eventbrite will request an ABN Tax ID.
What does the ticket price cover?
Ticket prices cover the cost of participation, registration packs and materials needed for the gathering, as well as venue & catering for tea breaks and lunch on Saturday.
I can only attend for part of APG. Can I pay a partial registration fee?
We are not offering partial registrations at this time, with the exception of special Friday night rates for youth groups.
I want to volunteer. Do I still register the same way everyone else does?
If you would like to volunteer for APG 2017, please apply here and specify your interest in APG. If you have already been approached by IJM to volunteer in some capacity, you should receive instructions for your registration by email. While we are very grateful for friends who volunteer to help and do offer a 20% discount, we do not have the budget to offer complimentary volunteer tickets.
Who can purchase student/Justice Advocate/IJM Alumni tickets?
- Students includes highschool and tertiary students who are studying part-time or full-time.
- If you receive our regular Justice Advocate email updates, you can be sure this term applies to you. If you don't receive updates but feel you should, please contact us.
- You are IJM Alumni if you have completed an internship or fellowship with IJM either abroad or with IJM Australia.
What's the refund policy?
A partial refund of 50% of your purchase price is available if we are notified of the refund request in writing before March 27, 2017.
Are special hotel rates available?
Quest St Leonards and Hotel Urban St Leonards are both offering a 10% discount on bookings for APG delegates. Instructions to redeem this discount are provided along with the confirmation of registration for APG.
Will there be parking?
There are several bus routes and train services which run frequently and close to the venue, which may provide your best transport options.
On-street parking near the Centre is generally metered parking (2 hours or less) with strictly enforced regulations. Parking stations are also available, such as the Hume Street Car Park which is located directly across from the venue. Additional North Sydney Council parking stations in close proximity include: Holtermann Street, Nicholson Street and Alexander Street. Early bird rates apply at these stations so don’t forget to validate your ticket at the parking station on arrival.
