SPEAKERS BIO
Kathryn Holloway
Everything in Kat’s career (to date) can be linked back to a 12-month internship with 1233 ABC Newcastle in 2003 and a 6-week internship with the Malcolm Sargent Cancer Fund for Children (now Red Kite) in 2002. After attempts to start a career in teaching, then government PR, it was music, radio and going back to working behind a bar that worked. Kat’s role with GTM started in 2006 and has evolved from Publicist to her current role as General Manager of the 6 show regional tour. In addition to building her role with GTM, Kathryn spent 7 years with ABC Radio coordinating a music project and worked with jonesPR, Perth International Arts Festival, Sydney Festival, Gadigal Music, Mona Foma, Dark Mofo and ABC Music on a range of album releases, events, programs and tours.
