Come and walk where Phar Lap – the famous Australian ‘Wonder Horse’ – trod, cantered, and trained. Learn about trainer Harry Telford’s former racehorse training grounds where the ‘Red Terror’ was stabled, enjoy the park’s wooden sculptures and artworks which include a tribute to Phar Lap and his strapper Tommy Woodcock, and hear about the significant natural and cultural heritage of the larger site now known as Braeside Park.

Please arrive 10 mins before.
