Speaker Bios
Duco van Breemen is the General Manager of Haymarket HQ (HHQ), Australia’s innovation hub and co-working space supporting entrepreneurs to grow globally. He leads a team that services Australia’s cross border market via various initiatives such as the China Canvas Challenge and Sydney Landing Pad.
Edwin Low is Director of the Innovation & Tech Ecosystem division at the Media & Innovation Group at the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA). Edwin has over 18 years of experience in private equity investing, investment banking and consulting.
Francis Chu is Assistant Director of the Innovation and Tech Ecosystem division at Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA). He leads the business development and company origination functions of IMDA’s Accreditation:SGD and SG:D Spark programmes, aimed at building Singapore’ tech ecosystem.
Yeung Chia Li is Partner (Investments) at EDBI and leads investments in the ICT sector in Southeast Asia. EDBI is a Singapore-based global investor in select high growth technology sectors ranging from (ICT), Healthcare to other strategic industries.
Sharifah Khairunnisa is the Landing Pad manager at the Australian Trade and Investment Commission. She joined Austrade in 2013 as the Education Manager, and her role has since expanded to support the growth and expansion of Australian edtech startups into Singapore and the broader ASEAN region.
Danny Gilligan is Co-Founder and CEO of Data Republic, the trusted platform for secure data sharing used by leading banks, insurers and airlines across Australia, Singapore and the United States. His passion for fintech is also showcased in his role as Co-Founder and Managing Director of Reinventure Group and founding director of Stone & Chalk.
