The safety of our community is paramount, and Council has made the difficult decision to scale down its Australia Day celebrations by holding an event for the Northern and Central awards recipients together with a Citizenship Ceremony event at Pioneer Park, Clare, from 9am on Wednesday 26 January 2022. There will be no breakfast available on this occasion. We will present the awards to our worthy recipients and the event will be livestreamed on Facebook. The Riverton Community will hold an event for the Southern area recipients at 9am, Wednesday, January 26 at the Riverton Recreation Ground. These will be COVID-safe events, check in and masks are essential.
