Description

Guest Speaker | Ann Selle

In 1994 Ann Selle created the first ever breast care cushion to help a friend recovering from breast surgery. Earlier this year Ann received an Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for her contribution to the community, after this super simple idea has taken off and brought comfort and relief to thousands of others worldwide.

The Breast Care Cushion concept captured Zontas imagination, and by 2000 clubs around the regions were getting involved. By 2006 the project came to international attention at a Zonta conference, and the cushions were embraced overseas. They are now being made in the United States, Canada, Germany, and Macedonia.

It is with great honour we have Ann as our guest speaker this month.

Please join us to find out how this little invention took flight and has helped thousands of women and men around the world in their recovery.

Please RSVP by 11.30am, Tuesday 25th July to secure your seat!

FAQs

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Town Hall station is the closest train station. There is a parking station at the venue; Wilson Parking's Darling Quarter Car Park.

If I can't attend, can I get a refund?

Unfortunately not. Our arrangement with the venue means we are committed to paying for every person registered, whether they actually attend or not. As a very small not-for-profit, we are not in a position to refund breakfast fees.
